Historical data, spatial intelligence, moments reimagined through responsive systems.
9 years. 289 players. 266,939 shots. Built for IBM's long-standing partnership with Augusta National, this experience transforms a vast data archive into something personal + alive. Audiences not only re-live the past, but understand the intention behind every angle, decision and near miss.
A Shot, Seen Differently
We rebuilt Augusta hole-by-hole using elevation data and satellite imagery, with every shot since 2016 mapped to its exact position. We’re giving visitors the opportunity not just to view history, but walk it.
This isn’t a static database, but a living system that unlocks a new kind of spatial storytelling.
Designed for Discovery
The interface is intuitive, spatial, and open. No path is prescribed. Like the game itself, it’s about feel — a tool that invites curiosity + rewards attention.
watsonx quietly powers real-time commentary and shot analysis, surfacing new ways to understand legendary moments — or notice the ones that history forgot.
Data archives become intuitive. Sports defined by moments become explorable.
A Personal Connection to Data at Scale
FIELD’s role spans concept, system architecture, data visualisation and interface design. We strive for experiences that show how AI can transform massive, inert datasets into tactile moments of understanding.
We believe in technology as a tool to help us connect + find solutions that allow the future to feel tangible.
