FIELD.IO is a global creative, design, and innovation studio that specializes in art + technology. We work with global brands and cultural institutions to create powerful new formats of visual communication. Our team consists of artists, designers, and consultants who tackle projects across strategy and branding, moving image, and immersive experiences.This is a full-time on-site role located in London or Berlin for a Golang Backend Engineer. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems that power our products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your Role

    — Excellent command of Golang and strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals

    — Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems, microservices, and APIs

    — Practical experience with relational and NoSQL databases

    — Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Your Skills

    — Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

    — Good understanding of software development best practices such as continuous integration and deployment

    — Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues

    — Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience
