From Data to Texture

Translating various layers of texture and analysed data textures into artistic, generative 3D simulations to create deep, immersive spaces, alive with organic texture, light and motion.

Inventing a conceptual universe that is the origin for not only campaign artworks, but for real-world sensorial experience spaces for retail, exhibitions, film sets – and an exciting brand story to tell in film, print and social media.

Experimental Collaboration

Working with SOS in Bel Air to create a series of visual experiments in a studio shoot: Utilising macro, ultra-high-res, and high-speed photography to create photo + video textures with an incredible amount of detail and smoothness.

Analogue Processes

The process begins with photography, familiar objects and textures, rediscovered through the lens and amplified through digital processes.
Field

Digital Refinement

Apply computer vision techniques to analyse the visuals: edge detection, colour keys, shape contours, motion: frame difference, optical flow vectors, motion intensity.

Translate various layers of texture + analysed data textures into artistic, generative 3D simulations to create deep, immersive spaces, alive with organic texture, light and motion.
